Creative and Digital Industries Embrace Launchpad

On December 15, we introduced Artscape Daniels Launchpad to the digital music industries in the GTA and were thrilled to have Jeffrey Remedios, CEO of Universal Music Canada and Raja Khanna, until recently CEO, Television & Digital of Blue Ant Media, announce their support for Launchpad as its first Founding Partners.

In their remarks, both CEOs voiced their enthusiasm for the project, which will help companies elevate their creative potential and boost their capacity for entrepreneurship and innovation by connecting them with new art and design talent and ideas:

“How I wish I could have had a place like Launchpad when I was starting out!… Collaboration between artistic entrepreneurs and industry leaders offers unlimited possibilities.” — Jeffrey Remedios

“Launchpad is going to be a game-changer for both the content industry and creative talent across Canada. This creative hub answers a demand from entrepreneurs and creators for a comprehensive incubation and idea-sharing space in our community.” — Raja Khanna

Artscape Daniels Launchpad will provide creative entrepreneurs everything they need to realize their full potential: space, equipment, technology, programs, mentorship, services, resources and a supportive creative community. Launchpad’s corporate partners will provide opportunities for the hub’s members, helping artists thrive in the new economy. In turn, Launchpad provides the opportunity for companies and organizations to plug into a vibrant ecosystem of offerings.

This was the first of a series of creative industry events Artscape Launchpad will be hosting in 2018 to introduce its unique offering to creative industries across the GTA. The goal is to forge new connections that will support the development of creative entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship, innovation, cross-disciplinary collaboration and the advancement of creative people, enterprises and the creative sector as a whole.
