Artscape is thrilled to announce that we are now accepting applications for tenancy for 26 live/work studios being developed within Artscape Weston Common, Artscape’s new community cultural hub in the Weston neighbourhood.
The 26 studios at Artscape Weston Common are offered as Affordable Housing exclusively for artists thanks to an agreement with the City of Toronto’s Affordable Housing Office. The units represent a unique opportunity to access long-term rental space at below-market rates in a specialized facility that co-locates artists, arts organizations and local community initiatives.
Artscape Weston Common, currently under construction, will include the 26 artist live/work studios, plus program studios partners UrbanArts and Shakespeare in Action and both indoor and outdoor community programming areas. The hub has been developed through extensive consultation with the local community and with the guidance of the Weston Steering Committee, and is designed to become a vibrant new platform for local arts and culture.
The application for tenancy deadline is May 2, 2018 at 5 PM EST. For complete information, consult our updated Call for Applications.
