Daniels Spectrum accepting applications for Ada Slaight Youth Arts Mentorship Program 2019

Daniels Spectrum is excited to once again offer the Ada Slaight Youth Arts Mentorship Program with the generous support of the Slaight Family Foundation.

The Ada Slaight Youth Arts Mentorship Program (ASYAMP) provides aspiring youth artists aged 16 to 26 from Regent Park and surrounding areas opportunities to explore careers in the arts and tap into their creativity. For five months, the participants are paired with industry mentors, given free access to arts and cultural events and invited to capacity-building workshops featuring international rising starts.

The deadline to apply is December 14th. The program will start in January 2019 and continue for five months.

If you are interested or know someone who is, get in touch with Dwayne Sybbliss (dsybbliss@artscape.ca) or visit the Artscape office on the first floor of Daniels Spectrum (585 Dundas St. East).
