Storytelling Festival returns for its 40th year

Get whisked away to magical worlds full of interesting characters and events at Artscape Wychwood Barns, as the Storytelling Festival, one of the world’s largest and oldest urban storytelling celebrations, returns for its 40th year.

Hosted by Storytelling Toronto, a community arts group housed at the Barns, this year’s Storytelling Festival theme is “Stories told eye to eye, mind to mind, heart to heart.”

With a roster of local and international storytellers, the Festival runs from March 2-24, with exciting stories being told in libraries, bookstores and venues across the city.

Storytelling Toronto will also host a Storytellers’ Camp starting March 20-22 at the Centre for Social Innovation (Annex), where the festival’s national and international storytellers will share their passion, technique and experience during three story-packed days.
