Artscape reorganizing management structure to better serve its communities

Artscape has grown and evolved significantly over the last few years. In order to better serve the communities we work with and ensure that we work efficiently as we grow, we are implementing several changes to our management structure and to the way we operate with all of our many stakeholders and partners. Over the next few months, we will also be introducing a number of new initiatives and approaches that will more effectively engage and harness the immense talent of our Artscape staff team, by involving staff across the organization in generating ideas, problem-solving and decision-making.

As part of these changes, we are pleased to announce the following new positions and internal promotions we are implementing in order to strengthen the Artscape team and better serve our communities:

  • Creation of Chief Portfolio Development Officer role to be filled by current Chief Operating Officer, LoriAnn Girvan, who will lead Artscape’s real estate development and asset management work
  • Plan in place to hire a new Chief Operating Officer
  • Creation of new Executive Director of Toronto Artscape Foundation position to be filled by Jane Hopgood, Director, Fund Development for Artscape
  • Creation of three new Vice President roles to be filled by members of the current staff team:
