Toronto fashion designer hosts fundraising runway show at Artscape Wychwood Barns

On June 26, Albiola Akinsiku, designer for her fashion line, Precious Threads, is hosting a fundraiser at Artscape Wychwood Barns. The Fashionable Escape is a runway show and luxury line launch that will benefit women and children who are fleeing domestic abuse.

An award-winning designer, Abiola Akinsiku works passionately every day to build a brand that is indicative of her rich Nigerian culture and values. She inspired and attracted to architecture, structure, clean lines and relentlessly pursues excellence.
Abiola has a passion for giving back and amongst her many hats, also teaches sewing skills to young women and girls at the Jean Augustine Centre for Young Women’s Empowerment.
