Learn to use a CNC router at two upcoming Artscape Daniels Launchpad Woodworking Studio 201 sessions

V-grooves, rabbet, rout, pocket, dado and carve. There’s so much you can do with a CNC router.

If you have had your eye on this machine for a long while or are interested in exploring new tools and techniques, don’t miss this upcoming Studio 201 course for Artscape Daniels Launchpad members. Happening on August 23 and August 29, participants will have the chance to learn all about safe setup, calibration and operation of the CNC router that they can access anytime they use the Woodworking studio.

The Studio 201 workshop starts off in Launchpad’s Computer Lab where participants will be walked through preparing a safe and effective CAD program using Autodesk’s Fusion 360. Then, in the woodworking studio, members get hands-on experience using the CNC router to run the program and realize their designs, while meeting with other avid woodworkers and enthusiasts.

Of course, you’ll need all the safety equipment required in a shop setting and have completed the Woodworking Studio 101 course before attending. The good news is there is one slated for August 24.
