Launchpad’s Digital Media Lab hosts new Screenplay Drop-In Workshop on March 1
Are you writing your next television or movie script? Or perhaps you have an idea or a pitch to flesh out? Launchpad’s Digital Media Lab is hosting a Screenplay Drop-in Workshop on Sunday, March 1 from 1:30pm-4:30pm.
Facilitated by Studio Technician, Ronan Nanning-Watson, this casual session brings together aspiring scriptwriters and filmmakers together for a conversation about storytelling, structure and other elements for writing for the screen.
Ronan Nanning-Watson is a narrative filmmaker and visual artist from Vancouver. He has created dozens of shorts and wrote, directed, and edited his first feature film in 2015 about an ironic cult. He is a self-ascribed nerd for cinematography techniques and equipment.
Bring hard copies of your screenplay, logline, pitch or even their idea — at any stage of development or length as long as it has a story — to have it reviewed and workshopped by like-minded peers.
