12 RBC Launchpad Music Entrepreneurship Program participants perform in First Up by RBCxMusic starting June 25, 2020 and running for four weeks on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 7 pm until July 19, 2020 through @RBCxMusic on Instagram.
To support the Canadian music community during these challenging times, RBC introduced First Up with RBCxMusic, a series of 30-minute, recorded performances submitted from selected emerging artists across Canada. RBC is providing each selected individual participant with a $1000 reward, promotional support and mentorship opportunities.
“With live events and paid performances currently on pause, the creative community is in need of support now more than ever,” said Matt McGlynn, Vice-President, Brand Marketing, RBC. “First Up with RBCxMusic hopes to help fill that void, so emerging musicians and recording artists can continue to hone their craft, perform for fans and ultimately, progress their young careers.”
