Artscape Daniels Launchpad - Digital Media Lab (DML)

Photography Studio
- 621-square foot Photography Studio
- Features a white 18-foot curved cycloramic wall
- Sony A7iii Cameras

Video Production Studio
- 943-square foot VFX Live Room
- Green 90-degree curved cycloramic wall with adjoining broadcast-style VFX Control Room
- Video Equipment Kit including Black Magic URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 camera and a wide range of supporting equipment

Sound Recording Studio
- Audio Engineer included in booking
- 202-square foot Control Room built around an SSL XL-Desk analog mixing console
- Pair of Barefoot Footprint 1 speakers and a range of premium equipment including Neve, Avalon and Millenia preamps and a wide selection of microphones
- 231-square foot Live Room equipped with top-of-the-line instruments and amplifiers
Rehearsal
The artist looking to practice for their next gig - including lighting, sound, and live-performance workers.

- Exclusive use of 1800 sq ft. of rehearsal space in Rockport Hall
- Performance calibre Audio Visual equipment with full lighting grid
- Technical Support for set up
- Backline equipment to support the ease of artist’s transportation and access to affordable rehearsal space, including:
- Guitar Amps (2) & Stand
- Bass Amp
- Keyboard, Keyboard Amp & Stand
- Drum Kit & Stool

Performance
The artist who is ready to put on a show - including audio/visual capabilities, professional lighting, and video projection.

Artscape Daniels Launchpad – Sugar Hall:

Artscape Sandbox
- Lighting grids spanning the event space and feature lighting in the bar area.
- An adjustable welcome desk to accommodate registration, a box office and coat check.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Applicant must be a live performance sector worker [Musicians, Vocalists (Singer-Songwriter), Videographer, Photographer, Podcaster, Producer, Mixed Media Artist, Influencer, Content Creator, Editor, Colourist, Cinematographer, Movie-Maker, 3D-FX Artist, Dancers, Spoken Word, Comedians and Comedy Performers]
- Applicant’s practice must have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic
- Applicant must have lost income due to the COVID-19 pandemic
- Applicant can only apply for one program stream [Production, Rehearsal or Performance]
- If applying on behalf of a group, max of 1 applicant per group
- Please note that program support is subject to applicant and resource availability and will only be offered in predefined booking periods. Once confirmed, a booking may not be rescheduled, credited or refunded. Program participants must have sufficient availability to schedule and use program support by March 31, 2023.
