Chris Foster is a Toronto based multidisciplinary visual artist. He received a Bachelors of Fine Art from the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design (NSCAD) in 2008. His artwork takes many forms including public projects, installations, sculptures, drawings, prints and collaborative projects. Working across disciplines, his work seeks to engage conversations about material culture, the built environment and spaces in transition. Foster maintains a long term studio on Toronto Island at Artscape Gibraltar Point and is one half of the artist collective Lake Effect Projects. His artwork has been exhibited throughout Canada and can be found in collections internationally.
