Sara Porter is a dynamic performer, choreographer, writer and teacher with a distinctive voice and a broad palette. Hailed for her humour, she has created over twenty multi-disciplinary works since 1990, including her one-woman show – Sara does a Solo – that recently toured to festivals across Canada and the US. Other popular works include Blossom, about poetry that compares women to flowers, and Opus Ornithologicus: the great bird work, that she performed at Holyrood Palace for Prince Charles. Sara has taught dance and theory at universities in Canada and Scotland. Her dance writing is published online and in books.
