Jascha Jabes

Jascha Jabes is Head of Deposits at ScotiaMocatta. Over the last ten years Jascha has worked in several divisions of the Bank of Nova Scotia including Retail Distribution, Credit and International Corporate Banking. He has previously served as a senior policy advisor to the federal Minister of Industry. He was educated at Queen’s University and holds a Master’s degree from London School of Economics. Jascha lives with his family in Toronto. A native of Ottawa, Jascha started his career with the Privy Council Office as an analyst focused on various social and economic files include native land claims, science and technology policy and public sector management reform. In addition, he has coordinated and accompanied various Canadian Ministers for international meetings of the G-20, the Western Hemisphere Finance Ministers, and the OECD.
